バブコックのファイナンスは「クラスラインナップ、教授の質、実業界との連携度、生徒のバックグラウンド・就職」等の指標において質の高い、且つ実用的なMBAであると言えます。

■クラスラインナップ
個別のクラスに関しては別途ご紹介したいと思いますが、全体的な流れは次のようになっています。まず一年次では「財務会計基礎」「管理会計」を履修後、「ファイナンスマネジメント」「財務会計」を履修していきます（必修）。その後一年次の最終クウォーターに選択で「インベストメント・ポートフォリオマネジメント基礎」、及び「財務諸表分析」を履修することができます。

一年次でファイナンスの基礎を固めた後、二年次ではファイナンス専攻の中でキャリアや志向に合わせ４つのトラックが用意されています。

①コーポレート・ファイナンス

This track is designed to prepare the student for a variety of careers in finance with a for-profit or non-profit organization. Some possible positions include working capital management, treasury operations, controller, and capital expenditure analysis. Students in this career track should simultaneously be working on the Certified in Financial Management designation.

②インベストメント・バンキング

This track is designed to prepare the student for a variety of positions with a national or regional investment banking firm, or the investment banking operation of a commercial bank. Some possible positions include security sales and trading, mergers and acquisitions, and security underwriting. Students in this career track should simultaneously be working on sitting for the Level 1 examination of the Chartered Financial Analyst program.

③ファイナンシャル・アナリシス

This career track is for students who desire to design a specific finance curriculum for a particular career path in finance.

Required (Primary Concentration: 12 hours from the following. Secondary Concentration: 9 hours, with a minimum of two 3-hour courses from the following.)

④証券分析／資産運用

This concentration is designed to prepare students for a position as a fundamental securities analyst with a national or regional investment banking firm, the investment banking operation of a commercial bank, or an analyst with a mutual fund or pension fund. It will also prepare students for a position as an institutional money manager, or as a trust fund officer with a commercial bank. Students in this concentration should simultaneously be working on sitting for the Level I examination of the Chartered Financial Analyst program.

また上記以外にも自身で自由にクラスを選択する（オリジナルのコースを作る）こともできますし、コーポレート・ファイナンスやM&Aあたりを専門としている学生の中にはロースクールやウェイクフォレスト大学に併設されている会計専門コース（学部と院が一貫となった5年生のプログラム）の専門クラスをとる者もいます。プログラム自体、非常に柔軟性があり、ご自身の目指すキャリアに合わせて専門性を高めていくことができるように設計されています。
